Great Workbench
I spent all of memorial day weekend working on replacing a deck I had demolished a few years ago. This workbench was instrumental since I used it to anchor my power miter saw. Stable and heavy duty platform for cutting 2 x 6 x 8s.

Poor quality parts
After just a couple of months and a only a few uses, the plastic belt (that drives the vise function) came off its runner, got caught up and split enough that it keeps falling off. The quality of the wood parts is far from great too.

IT'S A PIECE OF FLIMSY CRAP. The working parts are made of plastic. The moving clamp plate only moves a few inches. To accommodate a larger work piece, you have to wrestle out the fixed clamp plate to move it to a different slot. Try doing that with while holding the work piece with one hand and cranking the moving plate with the other hand.
Even worse, the fixed plate is held in the slot by a plastic prongs. The act of removing the plate grinds the plastic against the sharp, rough steel edge of the slot. The assembly process alone ground away 25% of the plastic prong's effective working area. That means I have about 3 more uses before the thing stops working.
I had an old model workmate that served me well for years. It finally met it's end when a heavy galling object crushed a leg. I was hoping to replace it, but this thing is no replacement. I want my money back.
DO NOT BUY!

Very useful and sturdy
The workmate is very easy to assemble and comes with detailed instructions on how to put it together. The work mate is light weight and portable but also heavy duty and durable it works as both a vise and a workbench. It had a strong wooden top and aluminum legs and bottom tray for storage. Very convenient and well worth the price.

Nice Workbench for Small Space
I needed a small workbench that I could keep in a corner of my garage and also have the flexibility to move it to my driveway or backyard.
This workbench satisfied my needs. As you can see from the photo, I also built my own vise attachment. The workbench turn handles are a little fragile, but stong enough for small jobs.
