It probably will. I used it on three different circular saws. An 18 volt DeWalt, a 60 volt DeWalt, and an older model corded Craftsman.

The strips fit on the underside of the guide. The strip has an adhesive edge that sticks it to the bottom of the guide and the strip then extends past the edge of the guide. The idea is that the strip will prevent tear-out in the wood on the guide side of the blade.

You could clamp this off square if you try. The tsquare just helps quick line ups. I don't use it. I just use speedsquares on each end to ensure that I am square.
Sorry, don't own the Ryobi, but I test fit to my corded Mak 7-1/4 sidewinder and (for the heck of it) a Rigid 7-1/4 worm drive, just to see how flexible the sled is. I have used mine a bunch with my Mak LXT18 6-1/2 sidewinder.

There should be no problem using the clamp as an edge guide for your saw. The sled is designed for a 7 1/4" circular saw and may not fit your saw but you still will benefit from the quick clamp edge guide..
