        A:  I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that? The slide and swings are plastic and definitely  get wet. The wood isn't sealed - I've planned on doing that for two years now and haven't quite made it, but it seems to be holding up, if that helps.

          A:  All of our wood is untreated and unsealed. please make sure to apply a waterproof sealant to the wood as quickly as possible to help protect it from the outside elements; this is a key part of the warranty. Your local home store should help you select the one that is best for your climate as each area is different, with more mildew, more humidity, rough winters, mild winters, etc. Oil or water-based? Not specifically recommended, your home store will be able to help. The stain is water-based so you have your option on the type of sealant.

            Cheap wood
            Bought this swing set for my 3 year old- the wood (not even sure if it’s real wood) warps and cracks very easily. Child is only 33 lbs and the bench started to break- the support piece fell off and there are cracks throughout the swing set wood pieces. It’s swing set is only 6 months old. Not sure if it’s going to last very long. Wish the wood was of better quality.

            I am sorry our product disappointed you. Our wood is selected for its outdoor qualities (resists bugs, natural longevity resisting decay and rot due to moisture or ground contact, etc.).               Kids love it!
              A backyard playset has long been discussed in our household, and we eventually settled on the Belmont Swing Set. Small enough to be assembled by two tired parents and the perfect size for our little ones. Rather than level out an area of our backyard, as it slopes, we decided to use leveling blocks. With everything anchored to the ground it's been holding up great. Had some minor issues with wood splitting, but nothing that required any replacement pieces. I used the associated app to guide me through the assembly process, along with the paper manual which made life a lot easier. The kids like to swing high, so I do occasionally have to retighten a few bolts to keep the set from moving too much. Being in the south, it's been handling high humidity and wild temperature fluctuations pretty well.

                AMAZING value! Would 100 percent buy from again
                We bought this for our girls for Christmas and I cannot believe how amazing this is for the money. It was very easy to put together, took about 10 hours total with a friends help…it’s very sturdy and haven’t had any issues with the girls and a bunch of their friends playing on it together. I would 100 percent buy from backyard discovery again in a heartbeat.

                  Beautiful set for my daughter!
                  We purchased this set as a Christmas gift for our daughter she's almost 3 years old. I think it's perfect for her age and size. Like previous reviews it is not for people that are more than 100lbs. It will only be my daughter and a friend that will play on this set. I had someone to assemble it and it took (on and off) 2 days to complete. Overall I thought it was a larger set for her to grow into but it's perfect for her size now.

                    This playground is small which of course you might be able to tell by the measurements but seriously so small. We got this for our 5 year old and it seems small even for him. For reference, my husband (pictured putting it together) is 6’0. The swing bar arm is super low so taller kids would not be able to use this. Also, my son weights approximately 45lbs and when he swings, he can make the swing set rock. Super disappointed in this purchase. If it weren’t for the fact that it is put together, I’d return it. I do not recommend it to anyone, not even people with super young kids, they’ll outgrow it too quickly. Waste of money

                      Great playset
                      I bought the Belmont playset for my granddaughter a year ago and it was the best thing we could have done. She is 4 years old and she loves having her own "park" at our house.

                        Excellent for the littles
                        I bought this for my sons birthday and I'm so glad I did. The look on his face when we got it all set up was priceless, it is very nice for the little kids they love the slide and monkey bars.

                          ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SWING SET!
                          We bought our Belmont swing set last summer, and our kids love it! It took some time to put together, but the end result has been fantastic. It’s very durable, nice neutral colors and has different options you can add on for future use (we just added a telephone and steering wheel!) It was the perfect piece to add to our backyard and be able to watch our kids enjoy (ages 5 + 3). Highly recommend for anyone looking, and the price was amazing!

                            Pretty set for the money.
                            It's a beautiful set and my son likes it very much! It was a very lengthy process to assemble with 2 very knowledgeable adults. The wood is not that high quality and sturdy. Only small children should get on this otherwise it may break. Adults: don't attempt swinging or sitting on bench. It won't hold you.
