Let your little ladies and gentlemen transport back to the elegant Victorian times within all the comforts of the modern day. With its large bay window, English garden bench, airy half door, classic serving station and fully stocked kitchen complete with phone, contemporary appliances and fresh Velcro food, the Victorian inn playhouse sets up your kids for years of fun. The Victorian inn play house is made from 100% cedar. With small, tight knot structure, your lumber will be less likely to develop small cracks emanating from knots. In laboratory testing, our durable cedar wood proved to be rot resistant and highly resistant to natural decay. All lumber is pre-stained for a smooth and clear appearance, as well as cut and stamped with the part number to help speed up the building process. Some pilot-hole drilling may be required. Our patented Safe-T-Fuse hardware makes assembly easy and secure.

    Q:What was used to treat the wood to stand up to the elements?

    A:  A waterborne transparent stain has been applied to our playset. This is done for color only. Once or twice a year, depending on your climate conditions, you must apply some type of protection (sealant) to the wood of your unit. We recommend that you talk to your local home improvement store to see what works best in your climate. By applying sealant your family will enjoy this for years to come.

      A:  Sort of ... there is no glass in the windows and the roof ridge has a small gap where the panels meet. Wind may blow rain inside, but nothing will get soaked. I have not had any issues with things getting too wet.

          Daughter Loves It
          Definitely a good choice if you're looking for a wooden playhouse. My daughter loves the kitchen area and bench to serve "food". The quality is worth the price to us. We built a platform for it which also created a deck for more play space.

            The Kids Love It!
            Our kids got this for Christmas, and we finally got around to trying to build it. I must admit I'm not the greatest at constructing these things, and when my wife went to try, she was overwhelmed. We had a buddy who said he liked to assemble furniture and thought he could get it done in 2 weeks. He got it built in 2 days! The kids (ages 1 and 4) came home from daycare that day and could not stop playing and exploring. Whenever we go to the backyard, they both still make a beeline for it. They like all the features and love all of the things to do. It's a win-win for us all.

                Perfect Playhouse!
                Grandma really knocked it out of the park for my daughters! The playhouse was easy to assemble using included instructions. Unfortunately my kit was missing a small trim piece. I was able to submit a missing parts order online and the part was delivered promptly! This company builds a great product and stands behind it 100%! Thank you Backyard Discovery, you have made me and my girls very happy!

                    Adorable
                    We bought this for our 3 year old daughter. She loves it! The kitchen inside is an awesome feature. It is well built and very cute. It took my husband and I about 6 hours from start to finish to build. The instructions were easy to follow. We are very happy with this purchase.

                      Adorable playhouse
                      I totally recommend this! very good quality, fast shipping, and with everything well packaged. I wanted to buy this one for my daughter's play area on the patio for her 2nd birthday.I have no words to express how beautiful it looks (much more beautiful in person than in photo to be honest) I changed the color( got it in home Depot as well) and I add some extra stuff... my daughter loves, loves love it thank you very much Home Depot. We are very happy .

                        It is beautiful it was due to arrive after Christmas. We were so excited when it arrived on Dec. 23. So on Christmas Eve we put it together, it did take long to put together but a wonderful time to bond with family. It has the best step by step instructions. None of us are carpenters, but we were able to do it. Definitely would buy again and will probably have to with more grandkids to come. We added lights to it the baby just LOVE ❤️ here gift!

                        Amazing quality and details!
                        Delivery was quick and very communicative on delivery status. Playhouse has a lot of parts and took two adults about 5 hours to put together. The finished product is sturdy and absolutely high quality.

                          [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a Christmas gift for our grandchildren and how it is loved! We have a 5 year old a set of 2 year old triplets and 2 year old twins and a 9 month old. It’s perfect for bringing family together to watch and enjoy.
