This Baldwin Entry lever door knob is very High End great quality Great Feature. The Smart Key feature is a great idea. You the owner can rekey the lock in just a few seconds. Easy to do just insert smart key turn your working Key 1/4 turn remove it then insert a new key turn it back and your all set. So easy to change no reason to give your key to a service company just rekey .

The product was defective and I order another one, same problem. One of the handles was 180 degrees in the wrong direction and no way to change the set screw position :-(

Hello Rob,
We appreciate you sharing your experience, and we understand that the set screw may seem to be installed incorrectly, yet they are both reverse threaded and pre-installed and hidden in the shafts. Please do not remove the set screws, and make sure that the lever is in the unlocked position, slide the levers onto the shafts, insert the allen wrench into hole on the side of the lever and turn clockwise to tighten the set screws to hold the levers in place. Please see section 3 of the installation guide linked below for a diagram of how to install the levers. For further assistance please call our Support Team at 1-800-566-1986.
