    A:  Baldwin model # 8131.003 requires 2 1/8” door prep. You would need to check your door dimensions for compatibility. This model comes with the metal strike plate. Please visit or contact your local Home Depot special order counter for pricing and availability.

      A:  Typically interior doors, bedroom, bathroom doors are usually 1-3/8 inch and the main door that protects your condo, those doors are 1-3/4 inch thick. Make sure the diameter of your door surface hole is 2-1/8 inch, that is the size this Baldwin lock requires.

        I bought a lever door latch along with this dead bolt. Both are very high quality and worth the extra money. There was quite a difference from the deadbolt and latch I replaced. My only complaint would be there wasn't a way to buy them as a set in order for the keys to be the same. I have two other doors with these same locks I bought at the store many many years ago and they still look and work great. I just told them at the time I wanted them to be the same key and I picked them up the next day. Buying online didn't give me that option. Now I have 3 keys... one for two doors and now 2 for the third door. My wife locked herself out the first morning so she was very upset. She got over it and maybe now she'll listen when I give her the lowdown. Lol! No she won't but she remembers to check the door now when she goes out!
