A 6x8 pressure treated fence panel weighs approximately 130 pounds.
This fencing was great
Putting a fence in is very easy. First know where the property line is. Use a string line go from one end to the other so your fence will be straight . Using a post hole digger dig corner post and set it in straight and level. Measure along the string line over 8 feet -2 inches so the panel will line up on the center of your post and dig your second hole for the post. put post in the hole Then fasten your panel to the post and level the panel. then pack the post in with the dirt that is left over from digging the holes making use post stays true and straight. Continue till all post and sections are installed.
Some 4x4 post are available at the store. Others need to be ordered.
You could use the existing post but I wouldn't recommend it. The fence panels should come together at each post. I find the look more appealing than panels being open ended. Hope this helped!
Yes, the wood post you currently have will not have to be replaced.
