Putting a fence in is very easy. First know where the property line is. Use a string line go from one end to the other so your fence will be straight . Using a post hole digger dig corner post and set it in straight and level. Measure along the string line over 8 feet -2 inches so the panel will line up on the center of your post and dig your second hole for the post. put post in the hole Then fasten your panel to the post and level the panel. then pack the post in with the dirt that is left over from digging the holes making use post stays true and straight. Continue till all post and sections are installed.

You could use the existing post but I wouldn't recommend it. The fence panels should come together at each post. I find the look more appealing than panels being open ended. Hope this helped!

Can I re-use the wood post I have with my old privacy fence or would I have to replace the post?

This product worked well for my rental property but i would not use it at my primary residence. There were alot of large gaps in between slats so large you could see clearly to the other property. I had an extra panel that i took the slats apart and used to cover the gaps. That worked very well. Overall satisfied.

Very good value for the money. Only a few slightly damaged areas in my purchase of 15 pieces. Looks good and easy to put up. Recommend drilling pilot holes for the fasteners.

Good construction. Cheaper than buying all individual pieces. Only Con: Some of the picket nails where not exactly where they should have been. Will see if there is any shrinkage in the coming months. but its faster than putting up individual pickets and good for what I wanted it for. I will be placing additional pickets on the "Inside" facing my house to give a more finished upscale look.
