Barrette Outdoor Living Aluminum Fence posts are pre-punched (Except blank posts) to allow for fast and easy assembly. Line posts are pre-punched on opposite sides to join fence panels in a straight line. No visible screws after assembly. Post top and hardware included with each post.

Very nice product but poor packaging. The posts have a nice finish and the and caps fit good and tight. Just a tap with a rubber mallet and they are on. The screws and cap come nicely packaged together. However, the posts are all stacked against each other (maybe ten in a package) and only surrounded on the outside by one thin layer of cardboard. During shipping some of the post's paint got thin from rubbing against each other. Some posts were dented and a few were severely scratched or dented from the shippers handling. I purchased about 45 posts (counting corner, line, end, and gate posts). It slows you down when you have to stop and special order additional posts to finish the job because some posts are damaged. I would suggest you order a few extra to make sure you end up with enough good ones. I did this on my second order and Home Depot happily accepted the return on the unused and/or damaged posts.

Fencing Very Flimsy
This entire fencing line made from aluminum is so flimsy That a strong wind will uncouple the joints after a while even with the screws in place. I saw it. I had to sister the uprights with a treated wood 4x4 sunk into the ground and set with concrete to render the fencing/ supports usable. The aluminum fencing panels were the biggest problem more than the vertical supports. Even under optimal conditions a child could easily bend this stuff. Didn't know if I even needed a hack saw or tin snips to cut! I am an experienced DIY.
