Very nice railings
Overall very pleased with these railings. I wanted aluminum for lower maintenance than wrought iron railings, and these worked well. I'm a little disappointed that they didn't come with the lag screws/bolts for wood/concrete, but the directions were very helpful and also give the recommended sizes for hardware. (I ended up using 3/8" x 2" and 4" hex head lag screws for mounting to the 2x4's of our deck, and the railing is very sturdy). I would purchase again.

Best $ 160.00 I've spent in a long time..
It won't rust & gives the front of my house an updated look..
Had my front porch redone, had considered having the existing wrought iron railing sand blasted & powder coated. My local powder coater, ( backed up with work ) suggested I could buy a new hand rail for less than what it would cost to redo the old one. ( he was right )

Mostly happy but had an issue
Overall, I am happy. My handrail came undamaged, powder coating is good, and it looks good installed. I used the 2nd mounting option into cement however, the holes were not threaded properly. Luckily I have a tap set, so I tapped the threads in the legs.

Paint coming off
Paint has started to come off only after one year of installation. A can of touch up painters over $20. Do not buy this product.

Handrails look great. Be careful if using the single all-thread option of anchoring. Threaded nut inside post did not get/stay tight after epoxying in walk. Should have had epoxy under plate also, post had a little wiggle after hardening. I needed to use some Tapcons to steady. But love the result.

First of all if you have hollow concrete premade steps, you should use wedge anchors instead of what the instructions tell you. We spent several hours trying to get the stairs mounted with Tapcon screws and ended up giving up. I nearly returned this rail to Home Depot because of this, but with a little research, I was able to find 1/4" x 2 1/4" wedge anchors and those did the trick in no time! So the instructions are not suitable to all applications and really are only good for solid concrete steps. We didn't even try the other mounting suggestion in there because we were skeptical that one rod would really hold the post steady. Other than this, I believe the rail is made well, maybe not worth $180 but it will do the job I bought it for and hopefully will last for a few years at the very least. The other option was to spend a lot more money on custom made railings and that was not going to happen this year, but needed to have something there for my elderly mother to hand onto coming out of the house. This was the next best thing.
