Quality is good - heavy, thick metal. Easy to install with no adjustments needed. But be aware that the actual latch part (flap that moves in and out) is very short and is not compatible with every type of latch plate for the door frame. This measurement should be included in the description. I have a flat latch plate (see photo), and this flap did not even come close to connecting. Had to return. Was able to move my latch plate by a few centimeters to make my old latch with worn down flap reach it again.

This latch is sturdy and I hope it lasts longer than the latch I brought 5 years ago. I also didn't realize there are 2 types of screen door latches. This one is 'tapered' to engage with a spring loaded door plate which is what I needed. I initially brought an inside latch that was not tapered and is designed for a fixed latch strike plate.
