    probably but you would have to cut metal piece that has notches on it. Do it in increments. I used a small hacksaw on previous handles.

    Fairly easy to install. Works fine.

    I was lucky: This handle and latch appear to be made by the same company that made the handle and latch I had to replace after the old one fell apart (after quite a few years of use). Because the dimensions of this one are virtually identical to the old one, I didn't have to drill any new holes, adjust the spindle, or shim the strike. It took maybe 5 minutes to remove the old one and install this one. The instructions were straightforward. Note: There are 3 screws that hold the outside handle on the door. Two of them attach through the door to the latch. The 3rd screw is at the bottom of the handle. If you're not replacing a handle and latch with this design and dimensions, you should be prepared to drill a hole in the door for the bottom screw. Just passing that along in case it's a concern for anyone. You could probably get away with just screwing in the 2 machine screws that attach to the latch, but that might put wear on them over time. I would give it 5 stars if the materials were more substantial and if the spindle was designed to fit more snugly into the push button for easier assembly, but I'm pretty confident that this will hold up well for quite a while.

    Nice looking set for the standard look on a exterior screen door. Unfortunately, the locking mechanism does not stop the door from opening, either from the interior handle or the exterior push button.
