No need for any hose "attachment". This bottle will connect directly to your existing hose "as-is", no need for any special extras.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bayer advanced 24 oz The product did not take care of the weeds in one application; in fact I did three apps and still see some weeds on my lawn

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I first purchased Bayer Season Long RTS February 23rd this year for spring application on my Berm... I first purchased Bayer Season Long RTS February 23rd this year for spring application on my Bermuda grass lawn hoping for results worth the premium charge for the product. Results were slow, and marginal at best on most weeds except dandelion. Red clover kill was a total failure. The pre-emerge was marginally effective. I continued to have weeds, but did not get taken over. I should have learned my lesson and bought Ortho or Spectracide for half the price, but I didn't. I bought the Bayer Season Long RTS again October 2, because I thought the pre-emerge feature might keep the green weeds from showing up in my brown, dormant lawn. Here's where my real issues with Bayer start. I opened the RTS sprayer and added some lawn colorant (Monterey Mark-it Blue) and proceeded to spray. The sprayer emptied in about 2000 sq/ft instead of the 4500 sq/ft that it should have. The result is that half my lawn (the backyard) went untreated and half my lawn (the front yard) got at least a double dose. I was quite disturbed because of the chance of damage to my lawn and not getting the coverage that I paid for. By the way, I had read the label pretty closely and also gone to Bayer's website and had seen no information warning about this potential problem prior to application. I then contacted Bayer, and their response was as follows. "When using any of our Ready to Spray products there is a mechanism in the design that allows the product to dispense at the appropriate amount per your water pressure. We do not recommend opening the product bottle as this will disrupt the mechanism. We also do not recommend combining our products with any other products including a dye tracking agent." To the best of my knowledge, that information is not readily apparent on the label or their website. I communicated that to them. Their response was. "If you look under the "Disposal" section on the label you will see the information about the bottle not being refillable. Also, we do not recommend combining our products with any other chemical as they have not been tested in that manner." And the final straw from Bayer,  "To the extent consistent with applicable law, the Buyer assumes responsibility for lack of performance or safety if not used according to the directions." My opinion is that the information contained in the Disposal section is incomplete and there should be a more substantial explanation and warning about the use of their product. Perhaps a sticker for the bottle saying "If you open this bottle, you risk killing your lawn". Or "If you add marker dye to this bottle, you risk killing your lawn." But, as you can see from Bayer's responses, if you can't "devine" the full meaning of "not refillable", you are on your own. Summing up and only vouching for my personal experience, you have an over-priced product that really does not perform anywhere close to it's self-proclaimed performance, and you have a label that does not fully inform about the potential problems with dispensing the product using their RTS sprayer, and perhaps worst of all, you have a certain insensitivity in handling customer problems and concerns. Will I buy Bayer again? Maybe not so likely.... In the meantime, I'll have to wait until Spring to see if my front lawn stays weed free, or if I even have a lawn left--which is the real question.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works really well I live in a large city and my neighbors don't take care of their lawns so I Was constantly fighting weeds of all types. I saw this product at my plant nursery and talked to the lawn care manager about it and he recommended it. Trued it first time 3 years ago with a little fear - I was afraid what turf I had would be killed off, but no! It worked great and I've been a consistent user ever since. I apply it in April and again in early August (I live in zone 6a).

I usually never write reviews, but I followed the intrusions to a T on how to apply and have had zero results. I even purchased a bottle to just pour on the weeds directly not diluted through water spray and the weeds are still living. Do yourself a favor and purchase granular weed killer that sticks to the weeds when applied in the early morning hours when dew is still present.

It's expensive compared to others but you think "well i'm getting 6 months of weed protection so it's worth it". Wrong. 1st- as others have stated it is extremely extremely difficult to turn the sprayer to the on position on the bottle. Horrible design compared to other spray weed killers. 2nd- I'm hard pressed to find any weeds that it actually killed. When I've used Ortho and Scott's in the past, you see the weeds shrivel up and go away. All the weeds look to still be there. 3rd- There new weeds growing uninhibited in my yard. So much for season long protection. Being a veteran at lawn care, I followed the directions exactly and used the right amount so the issues are product related not user related. Don't waste your money on this product I can assure you that you'll be disappointed like I was. Stick to the products that are proven and been around. I wish I would have listened to my own advice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never again I bought a few bottles of this product a month ago to spray my front and side yard to take care of what little weeds I had and now my yard has more crabgrass than it ever has had before. Very disappointed with this product. I thought it was going to be the cherry on top to make my yard the best of the block.
