I easily assembled the door opener implementing the retrofit instructions. I completely installed it by myself, and I'm disabled. Works great! Haven't yet programmed the openers.
Shipping box was damaged upon receipt but was not missing any parts.
All the wiring was utilized without any splicing. (Had to be crafty).

It worked on my 9 foot garage door
I couldn't find any other products that would support extensions for my 9-foot garage door until I spotted this one. It worked as described, but seems a bit under-designed. Three larger support tubes replace 5 shorter ones from the standard kit. The chain "extends" the existing chain with another master-link. It would have been better to have an entirely new chain the right length.
If you have a 8, 9 or 10 foot garage door this would probably work for you, but I found that my 11 foot ceiling height required more length on nearly everything. The standard kit has wires that are barely long enough to reach the head location, with a 9 foot door. If you had a 10 foot door, no way, you'll need to extend the wires to the photo-sensors as well.
I just finished the install today and it seems to be working fine. One difficulty was adjusting the chain/cable tightness. With the longer span, the chain tends to sag more and getting it tight enough was a bit tricky.
