Very Time Consuming
We bought two awnings a three and a six foot. The instructions are almost useless and the tech dept doesn’t respond. Luckily there is a video on UTube that is somewhat helpful. Some of the holes aren’t predrilled, so you need a Cobalt drill bit to drill into metal. Taping the pins for each blade with duct-tape will help. We spent over SEVEN hours on assembly of the awnings. We hired a contractor to install them on our house.

Very flimsy material. Nightmare to put together. It took our guys an entire day to put together 3 shutters. Do not waste your time or money on this garbage!

MUCH assembly required,
and no indication of proper alignment of inner rails (I'm assuming that there is a "proper" alignment). By the time I realized that the slats were going to be crooked relative to the frame I was too far along in the assembly process to go back for a re-do. I dinged the "value" rating for the SUBSTANTIAL assembly time, and "quality" for inadequate instructions and alignment markings on the parts.
Forewarned is forearmed . . . I'd still recommend the product, but only with the warnings above . . .
