Q:I bought this pail today in the Tilton, NH store. They had hundreds of them. Yet your website says "we are no longer carrying this product". What gives? This kind of stuff just shouldn't happen.

      A:  Don't see why not-- have not tried though.

        A:  Sure, you can. The glue that seals it will probably hold boiling water if you pour the water into it. However, it will not keep the water warm for long. It is not insulated so the water will cool quickly.

            A:  There's no reason it couldn't hold hot water. The water would probably cool quickly since the metal would conduct the heat to the outside of the bucket where it would interact with the cooler air.

                  DIY Flagpole Planter!
                  I bought This 17 Gal Galvanized Washtub and a matching pail to create a planter around the base of my Flagpole.. i cut a hole using my Ryobi Cordless Reciprocal Saw in the bottom of the tub and pail, and assembled them with the flagpole going through them (with an old Plastic flowerpot under the pail as a spacer)... filled them with potting mix and planted impatience that can tolerate full sun... It looks Rustic and I don't have to worry about maintenance for a long time! I've received so many compliments fro people tat drive by and am actually making one for a friend.

                  The bucket is solid build, not to happy with the over use of the sealant the hold it together or makes it leak proof, the excess leaves a bead in the bucket that gathers materials. But that is just a very minor issue.
