Do you punch holes in the bottom to use as a flower containet.

I thought I could just punch holes with an awl and a hammer but these tubs are tough! After I comically tried several ideas for punching the holes, I finally discovered I could drill holes in the bottom with a power drill and a diamond bit and that still took some elbow grease. I have ferns planted in two tubs, which I spray painted turquoise and lime green to coordinate with the fabrics on my patio. These 16 gallon oval tubs hold 4 or 5 six-inch potted plants with room to spare for growth.
