I bought this. It's pretty w my fig tree (going dormant that's why it looks like Charlie Browns xmas tree)in it. Very sturdy. Very good buy-wish lid had been avail.

I used it to make a camping toilet. I put a regular round toilet seat on it and lined it with a plastic bag. I also made a wood box to make it taller. It's a lot better than those small 5 gallon plastic bucket toilets. It wasn't that hard to construct.

Lid is NOT waterproof!
The lid on this pricey can is neither WELDED or RIVETED, instead attached by a method that lets light - and water - in. We learned this after $25 worth of seed was ruined. I repaired the construction flaw with some JB Weld, but that should not have been necessary. Not recommended.

Overall it does exactly what I bought it for -...
Overall it does exactly what I bought it for - keeping our dogs business off our back lawn.
Having said that, as it is a "locking lid"while it is definitely air tight, if you push the lid down too much, it takes 2 hands to open it back up. Not ideal if you open often but works as it should.
All said for the price it makes the perfect dog waste trash bin.
