Rated 2 out of 5 by from Installation Problem (No Registration Field) I bought this product, but unfortunately the setting is totally different from the installation guide. Upon connecting to the camera, it will directly go to the viewing, and connect to the internet. While reading the guide it must have to register username and password to login. I have a problem now accessing it in the internet because it will prompt you to ask username and password. How to access it where it never asked me to register username and password from setup?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Dissapointed I was given two of these for christmas the good : easy to setup, good resolution the bad : the app crashes every 4 minutes, the cynic in me thinks this is done intentionally to reduce the webtraffic from their servers. It crashes on the iphone, ipad, which makes using this camera as a baby monitor pointless. there is no local network setting that lets you bypass uploading to belkins servers and just stream it all on your own internal network.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy to instal I have bought this 2 weeks ago and everything works fine from the web browser. Video and sound. The second I switch to android app everything its bad. No image, sometimes only sound and most of the times connection errors. I thought it is my router but that doesn't explain why works just fine on browser.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This is garbage This camera video has never taken a clear video just to start with. I get sent heaps of emails with motions detected etc etc with no video to seeor a photo. Also all we can see from day to day are a very large number of gaps between videos etc. for example someone can be in our kitchen area cooking or making lunch etc and you will see the video and motion but then u ca go back into kitchen to make a hot drink etc and that video WILL NOT be there. You never see anyone walk through the kitchen area at all for hours on end but 5-6 hours later u will see a video of someone walking through the area, i have no idea why the camera only detects very very minimal stuff... Not happy at all.

For the last two months I can not access them from the application, but I can access them from the website. I uninstalled and reinstalled the cams, but did not work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Little more than a motion sensor The install was easy but the benefits just aren't there unless you're willing to pay for Belkin's Cloud+ Storage. When motion is sensed the camera will send you an alert but not provide the snapshot. To get a picture you need to have alerts sent to your email. Note that the alert is only a picture. There is no way, short of paying for a subscription, to record video when motion is detected. I don't want to put my security video "in the cloud", I just want to be notified and presented with a VIDEO of what was seen. The photos that I have received were of poor quality due to motion blur (Wife walking in/out of the house) and if it were not for my ability to recognize her clothes it would have been useless. The motion blur happens both at night and in full daylight so using this for security is out of the question unless your burglar stands absolutely still. We know, since you can pay for video recording in the cloud that the camera is capable of capturing video but there is NO WAY to do this without paying for the premium service. In summary this is throughly disappointing product that does nothing to improve security.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No Longer A Fan I have 5 cameras. They USED to work great. From ANY location, select camera and image appears. Now, 1-2 years later, very spotty performance. SOMETIMES, no image at all, just the spinning ball but audio is there. SOMETIMES no connect at all. And it is NOT my wifi setup as I have NO problems with router etc. The above happens from local household and also from various other location in and out of state. REALLY getting tired of the intermittent performance and it is from all locations both in house and far away. Sometimes instant image, other times no image, spinning ball. Complained before to support and no response. Will be looking for alternative solutions. Big joke is the constant asking for their Security plan. Why spend money for a service that doesn't provide what is advertised.
