Product Details

A general purpose propane torch kit for basic plumbing and home repairs. Kit contains an all-purpose Manual Torch for General Applications, which works well for small diameter soldering, as well as thawing frozen locks and pipes. The torch features a 1/2 in. wide pencil flame, durable brass construction and an adjustable flame control knob. Torch lights manually with a spark lighter, sold separately. Kit also includes a 14.1 oz. propane-filled cylinder, lead-free solder wire, flux paste and a flux brush.

This torch will work well for this application, however, if you need to invert the torch for a period of time you may experience extinguishing issues. This stems from not having a fuel regulator as many of our other torch designs have. If you would like to use this for other use applications I would recommend a model with that regulator for the best customer experience. Those models would be our TS4000, BZ4500, and TS8000 models. No Threads on Torch!

There were no threads on the torch head to screw to the bottle. Obviously defective and will be returned. We had already cut and fit the pipes before finding out, so a major pain!!
