no you would have to get a whole new head that is smaller
Pretty sure it can’t. Why would you want to change the tip?
You can use propane without issue
The yellow map gas burns hotter and heats up faster but you can also use the blue regular gas it will just take a little longer for the fitting to heat up to take the solder
Yes this works fine with propane. It will burn around 100 degrees cooler than mapp but it works fine.
Propane does NOT burn hotter than MAP-Pro gas which burns at a temperature of 3,730 degrees Fahrenheit, while propane burns at 3,600 F. Because it heats copper faster and to a higher temperature, MAP-Pro gas is a superior alternative to propane. I have a torch specifically designed for use with butane. I don't know how this torch head would work with that kind of fuel cannister without an adapter or if it is possible at all. But I doubt it. MAPP gas is the fuel that I prefer as it burns hottest to sear and caramelize meat after sous vide cooking.

yes
No, this is a broad flame and MAP gas burns hotter then propane. Propane burns at 3600 degrees and MAP at 3730.
