    A:  They may be usable outside, but rain and sun can cause paint to fade. I do not recommend using them for outside

      Bought 2 sets of these stands in April 23 for small and medium sized containers for vegetables. Work well and look good and so far no rust problems. Today I was adjusting a tomato plant on one of the stands and one of the metal legs bent and toppled my plant. I thought about returning it to Home Depot, but wondered how they will treat the one return. They came packaged in four stands????

              Terrific decorative plant stands!
              [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Terrific plant stands! These are sturdy and well built stands which come in handy for attractive placement on the summer porch. These stands will show rust if they get wet, so I would recommend spraying them with a clear sealant before use. I’m a sloppy waterer and the stands get wet.

                      As pictured these metal plant stands are solid, strong enough to support three plant pots and one large tree stump that was removed one year ago. I chose a Lady Banks White Rose to plant inside the stump. Help is needed to place the stump on a stand.
                      Outstanding purchase. Solidly made, finish is smooth.
