Product Overview

Save Your Deck. You know those dark spots under the pots on your deck, which happens because water, dirt, bugs and grime are trapped there. Left unattended that muck stains decking surfaces. The best defense is to prevent it from happening at all. Pot Pads are the solution. Pot Pads are discreet yet incredibly effective. Just insert four Pot Pads beneath each pot providing instant drainage and aeration for healthier plants. Elevating the pot off of the decking surface helps to prevents deck-rot, molding and staining and also helps prevent pots from freezing and cracking during winter months. Using a unique 2-part construction each Pot Pad is made of a hard plastic dome and a "non-skid" rubber grip pad. Pot Pads grip the underside of the pot creating suction and allowing for easy movement of the pot on hard surfaces. For outdoor and indoor use. Four Pot Pads accommodates one medium or large size pot.

Yes, they will, but they are meant for lighter weight planters. Installation was easy, but when I needed to move the pot, the pads came apart. Perhaps a weight limit needs to be included with them. My concrete planters were too heavy when filled with potting soil and plants.

Do they need to be glued?

Yes. I have them under 6 pots on my paver patio. Helps the water drain well by slightly elevating the pot.

Went to 3 Home Depot’s to find and purchase these pads. I use gorilla glue and attach them to all my pots on our patio and down the side of our home. I have lady palms in large pots and they are so easy to slide and reposition with the pads attached. Makes it so easy to clean and push all the planters around.

Actually used these as feet on an outdoor table that had a tendency to rust no matter how much I waterproofed them. Working out great.

This was a total impulse buy on my way to the check-out. We have pressure treated decks that tend to rot when a plant pot is left sitting directly on the wood. I have used scraps of 3/4" white PVC trim material that are better than nothing. I like that these are rounded to minimize the contact with the wood deck and are a dark color that blends in.
