Great product runs very smooth great quality . very quiet running

This fan is as much a statement piece as much as it is a bad @$$ functional fan. The fan was installed in a 2,000 ft^2 warehouse type space with approx 18-22 foot ceilings. A comfortable breeze is felt anywhere in the room and it will surely help keep patrons cool in this soon to be finished tap room of Houston's 8th Wonder Brewery. The delivery company called a day or two ahead to ensure that we were ready to receive the fan and they delivered exactly when they said they would. The fan arrived in a few boxes with nothing broken or damaged. The installation crew was a big @$$ fan approved/recommended installation company. The control box looks great and the control line was run to the fan in a steel conduit. The power cord, however, was just plugged into a manual outlet which the landlord says needs to be hard-wired according to code. Make sure you have a qualified electrician review your specific case. Overall the fan took about 1.5 days to install and there were no major problems. The fan was installed using a drop down kit which the big @$$ fan company recommended. I would recommend calling the big @$$fan guys and asking them to specify the exact components for your space.

This is an excellent fan but I recommend having a professional install it. We had it installed in a Children's Fun Center so we has to cover up the company name on the motor cover but we couldn't be more pleased with the amount of air it moves.

I have a 3,000 square foot, open plan, workshop. I have a number of smaller fans, some on pedestals and some on small stands. Repositioning each fan, and trying to get a clear shot from the fan to my work areas was always a struggle. Turning them all off at the end of the day was no fun either. I was looking for something that would cool a large area, be simple to install, and replace many smaller fans with a single larger fan. Then I heard about “Big A ss Fans”. After speaking to their technical team, and taking in to consideration some limitations in my work space (a 4 post vehicle lift meant one area of my shop was out of bounds) they recommend this fan. I read their marketing blurb, and was a little skeptical that one fan could replace all my other fans. Boy was I wrong. This fan is amazing! It is up out of the way but covers my whole work area. The fan is so quiet it is unreal. Just one of my other small 24” fans create much more noise than this fan does. Air flow is from a gentle breeze to a strong gust, all at the turn of the dial. No buffeting or annoying ‘throbbing noises’ from the fan, just a constant smooth flow of air. I’m not a snob, but I do like my things to look nice. Whilst this is ‘only a fan’, it is a very well built and aesthetically pleasing fan. The aluminum blades with their yellow tips, and the bold yellow center cap with the large logo always draw the attention of anyone in my shop. I can’t tell you how many people have said how great it looks (I know, it is just a fan right, but it is a darn good looking one!). The motor is substantial, and I mean substantial. I observed no vibration at all, and the fan did not require balancing. Out of the box it almost silently rotated, and moved a lot of air. I installed the fan myself, and one thing I noticed was the attention to detail and quality of this thing. Even the motor windings looked like they were a piece of art. I opted for the optional I-beam mount kit, and couldn’t believe that the attention to detail that went in to the fan was even evident on something that affixed the fan to the beam - polished and chamfered edges for a mount show that these guys appreciate quality. Fans of years past had simple switches that tap in to different windings to control the speed. This fan has clever electronics and circuitry built in. Even the control switch has a status LED built in. A 50 foot cable was provided, which meant I could put the controller where it made sense for me, and not necessarily right next to the fan. I spend a lot of time working in my shop, the addition of this fan not only means I’ll keep cool, but it also looks cool. My neighbor has ‘fan envy’. This is an amazing fan. I hear you thinking “It is just a fan”, right? Wait until you own one and you’ll know what I mean. I’m already shopping their residential line of fans. I’m a fan of 'Big A ss Fans'

Cannot be used in a residential setting. I wish this would have been mentioned on HD’s website before I purchased it!
