My old fan has separate wall controls for a fan and a light. Can I use them with Haiku?
Asked by laglider December 2, 2020Thanks for your question laglider. The fan and light have a shared connection and they can not be separated. We recommend using the included IR remote, free mobile phone app (iOS/Android) or using voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for full fan/light control. Can i get this fan with the back lighting option? If so at what cost?

Does this work on an angle?

Does the have a reverse mode and if so can it be done by remote or is it on the fan?
Asked by Bigb October 15, 2019Thanks for your question BigB. While the fan does have the ability to reverse, we don't recommend it. The fan is much more effective at mixing air and proving destratification by simply turning your fan to the lowest of the 7 speeds during the winter months. If you'd still like to reverse with your remote, bring the fan to a complete stop, then press the following button sequence on the remote: Whoosh, Whoosh, Whoosh, Speed Up (or On/Off). Repeat to return the fan to forward operation.
Is the fan smart enough to integrate with Ecobee and/or Nest smart thermostats, if so please describe.

how far does this drop down from the ceiling?
Asked by pac August 23, 2019Hi Pac! The Haiku L Series comes with a 6 inch and a 12 inch extension tube. With the 6 inch extension tube the fan height is 11.4 inches and with the 12 inch extension the fan height is 16.4 inches.
Does this work with Siri or Apple Homekit?
