I bought two of these jacks to lift a long cement slab weighing about 2 tons. It is an in-ground pool apron that had collapsed 3 inches due to erosion of the soil beneath it. These two jacks easily lifted the slab so it could be shored up with concrete blocks. If this couldn't have been lifted into proper position with these jacks, the cost to pour a new slab and rebuild the pool screen attached to it would be $3-4,000. An easy, inexpensive fix to what could have been a costly project. There are a few other small concrete slabs in my yard that have sunk due to erosion, and now I have the tools to get them back into position. These jacks are easy to operate and can fit into tight spaces. Highly recommended. in my yard. Now I have the tools to bring them back into position. These jacks get the job done.

We like it, a no-nonsense tool. This jack does the job, it completely out-performs the rather anemic 12- and 20-ton models. For one-man operations, this is about the heaviest jack that can be manhandled at arm's length. This 30-ton lifted the corner of a small house, which was its intended purpose for this project. It made short work of lifting the sill plate off the foundation. Make sure you get the stubby model for any confined work spaces. It is advisable to use some kind of pallet under the jack for soft ground and a plate above the piston, which can easily dig into or puncture soft lumber. The major con is that when the hydraulic valve is opened, the piston does not collapse without pressure. It releases only to the point the weight is released and you'll have to dig some sort of wedge into the contact point to force the piston down further. This may be a safety feature, as it seem to be common to all bottle jacks. But we still don't like it. Maybe add a small rim or notch?

    Good Deal!
This was simple and we were able to use it right out of the box! So far, it's been great; we still have a ways to go before we can install the permanent steel post where the wooden post split. I also used 2 of the temporary house jacks to hold the lift until we reach level once again...

Leaks fluid and cant lift close to whata its rated for
I previously made a review on the omega 50 TON and it did what this wasnt able to do. If u are a semi truck driver and have a blowout with a fully loaded trailer weight of 79k lbs this jack possibly will fail and cause it to fall. I tried lifting a mobile home with it and it did 1 full jack up and it gave out and leaked fluid out the top and it woudnt hold weight. If u are lifting 40k lbs id say its a good jack but i personally wouldnt buy another one of these

Would not work - no lift - returned
The jack was junk. Had it shipped to me but it took three weeks. Finally, when opened and tried out, it would not work. Instructions said I had to fool with the oil gasket and plug with a screwdriver to "let trapped air out of the jack before first use". What crap. This should have been done by the mfrer, not by me. Tried it and it still did not work. Had to drive to Home Depot to return it. Don't buy it. Product is junk.
