If treating just one tree (more on the smaller size) how much of the bottle should I use?

Asked by CMC June 2, 2021

Answers

That would depend on how much foliage there is and because of that we would not have an exact answer. We would recommend to apply to all foliage including the underside of the leaves until wet, but not to the point of dripping. -James

I am not sure of the answer to that but maybe you could look it up online and read the fine print. I bought it mostly for earwigs in my roses

Hi, Walt. We do recommend keeping pets away from the treated area until the spray has dried. Once dry, it is completely safe for other people and pets to re-enter the treated area. -Madison

Can this product be used on Leyland cypress trees?

Asked by GS August 26, 2020

The only tree or plant restriction is food type plants - do not use on them - otherwise it is safe to use on any plant. There are other cautions such as not spraying when bees are active around your tree but I do not believe that bees are attracted to your tree.

Broken Sprayer
I bought this about a month ago and the spray unit (attached to top of bottle) broke right away. A whole section of it fell out. Now it sprays, but badly and mostly just drains out of the place where the piece fell out. I have an older bottle, empty, but I thought I'd transfer the product from one bottle to the other one. But HOW DO I OPEN THE BOTTLE without breaking it? Thanks.

Response from Consumer CareSep 25, 2020
I am very sorry to hear that this happened. This is certainly not the intended outcome. Our Ready To Spray bottles are EPA regulated for one-time use. Due to this regulation, we do not recommend removing the liquid from the bottle. We'd like to see what we can do to help. At your convenience, please contact our Consumer Affairs team at 877-229-3724. We are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM CST.

Having a wildflower garden is rewarding and challenging. Every plant has it's own share of pests...
Having a wildflower garden is rewarding and challenging. Every plant has it's own share of pests that can damage it's overall appearance and the ability to come back next season. I have used Bayer control products for about five years and have found them all to help in the early stages of plant development and again later when the plants start to bud. The tricky part is 'when to use'; as the Tucson sun can do it's own damage along with the Spring winds that last long past their deadline. The solution for my garden is early evening at dusk, spraying the bottom half of the plants only. I also check back about a week later to see if any plants have not responded well to the application; there are always a couple I end up removing roots and all. Some of the grubs that live in the root system may have been there for a while or built up a resistance to the product. I do apply a good soaking in that area and try to keep another plant from growing there for a while. All of my wildflowers look to be pretty healthy and continue to bloom until we have that first freeze.

That is very frustrating, and I am sorry to hear you were not satisfied with BioAdvanced 3 in 1 Insect Disease & Mite Control. The product will not prevent or repel insects from your plants, and visible results will depend on the size and health of insects, as well as the severity of the infestation. We'd like to see what we can do to help. Please reach out to our Consumer Affairs team at 877-229-3724. I am sorry to hear that you were not able to to achieve the insect control that you were hoping for with the product. I do understand how that would be upsetting. When treating an active infestation it may require subsequent applications every 7-14 days as needed for elimination. I would like to hear more and further assist you. Please give me a call at 1-877-229-3724. We are available Monday-Friday 7:00-5 PM & Saturday 8:30-5 PM (CDT). Jessica BayerAdvanced
