AnswersThere are 4 ½ inches between each hard wood slat. They are all connected by a strong woven strap about 2 inches wide. This rolls out on the frame and keeps the slats from moving. This strap is securely fastened on both sides of the slats. You just roll them out, put your mattress on and bada bing bada boom, you’re ready to make the bed. I really like ours. Both over night guests said they slept very well. No guests tho since covid. But we’re ready for many visitors with our bed after this jungle rot is in control. Merry Christmas.

Great queen sized bed frame that is very sturdy and solid. The frame is made out of heavy duty metal that appears to be powered coated for durability. The legs of the beds have a nice smooth radius that gives it a modern look. The slats that support the mattress are made of quality wood and are held in place to the frame by a velcro fastener that is a great system so the boards don't move around. The height of the frame is fine without a boxspring and the slats that support the mattress are more than adequate for support with zero sagging. The instructions on how to put the frame together were easy to understand and all the parts, including the Allen wrench, to put it together we're included. Some of the bolts didn't line up perfectly so I'd suggest loosely screwing them all in at first and then going back for the final tightening after the frame is fully assembled.
