Product Overview

LUCCA COLLECTION by Bloem: If your green thumb can get a little forgetful, make sure you get the Bloem Lucca planter on your side. The planter comes with an attached basin saucer that can be filled for the plant to feed from once the root system is established. To start the plant, use convention top watering techniques and then switch to bottom watering by filling the basin as needed for the roots to wick the water up. The fill spot is more subtle than traditional self-watering planters, giving the flower pot a more acceptable appearance. Matte finish is perfect for resisting scratches, dirt, and fingerprints. Suggested accessories (sold separately) - Bloem Aqua Rite Watering Cans available in 56 oz. and 144 oz. size in multiple color options.
  • Capacity: 4 Gallons / Size: 15.25 in. Top width x 8 in. Bottom width x 12.5 in. Height
  • Self-watering so you water less often and your plants never go thirsty, water reservoir holds and gradually disperses moisture to the plant as it's needed
  • Includes drainage holes and matching plant saucer tray
  • UV stabilized plastic is fade resistant and will last for many years
  • Includes 1 - Bloem Lucca Self Watering Planter 14" Terra Cotta with saucer tray
  • FDA approved resin for contact with edibles and food (plastic code 2 & 5)

Can these be hung with plastic hooks?

Hi Meg. Thank you for your question. This style pot will not be able to be hung with the standard plastic hooks. You would need the metal chain style to support the weight of the pot full of soil. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Rick_HD_OC

What size pot do I need for a mother plant? Baby aloes, what size?

Asked by Sunny August 1, 2020
1
Answer

The planter size selected all depends on the size of your plant. Try measuring the base of the plant in its current growing pot and then add at least 4+ inches to the width to find the ideal planter size. A healthy plant requires room from roots to grow freely.

I need 2 pots for a old bicycle planter. They have to fit in a width of 5" for one the other 6.5"...

Asked by Woodloaf April 1, 2020
1
Answer

The width of the bottom part is 3.5 in.

No joy! Pots were too large to fit the indoor stand, too deep for transplanting a peace lily, was already replaced in store with blue ones of proper size. These are good size and color for summer out door herb garden. Will keep for that purpose.
