Add the incredibly fresh, citrus scent of lemon blossoms to your home by growing a lemon tree. Extremely fragrant white flowers bloom in spring and summer among attractive, glossy green leaves. As lemons begin to appear and mature, they help to provide visual interest for the remainder of the year. Lemon trees are extremely hardy and grow well indoors while providing edible fruit to enjoy in beverages, in cooking and as garnishes.

  • Evergreen, self-pollinating, so only 1 tree is needed to produce fruit, glossy evergreen foliage provides the background for vivid yellow fruit
  • Fewer thorns than traditional lemon trees, lemon trees adapt well to container culture and require transplanting to a larger, well-draining container as needed

The root system was well developed and healthy white in a 12" high 5x5" pot. The tree above ground is 22" high and branches beautifully. The leaves were plentiful, large, and robust. I am totally impressed with the quality of the plant and shipping/handling. It was very convenient to have the tree sent to my home. It was much better than transporting a tree that size in a 5 gallon pot!

The lemon tree arrived right on time, well packaged for shipping, and sat on our front doorstep for about 10 days before we go around to planting it. The tree was supported with a good stick, placed in a can that held water, and loved being introduced to the Oakland sun. Now it is planted in our front yard, survived the heat wave, and is planning to give us lemons for years and years!
