Looking for a shade-loving plant to brighten a shady area in the garden, Hosta fits the bill perfectly. Bloomsz Hosta assortment of popular varieties provides plenty of texture and color, yet needs little care. Mildly fragrant purple or white trumpet-shaped flowers are carried on graceful panicles that rise above the attractive foliage. In mid-summer tall spikes bearing fragrant bell-shaped lavender flowers appear amid the mounds of foliage. Easy to care for and grow, they rarely need dividing. Try them as the center plant for a distinctive touch in a container on a shaded or north-facing patio or deck. No matter where they're planted, Hosta will be pleasing to the eye.

  • Growing instructions: select a location in the garden that receives dappled to full shade and where the soil is slightly acidic and drains well, loosen the soil and place the roots into the soil 18 in. to 36 in. apart, the roots should face down and the "eyes" or growing points facing upward just slightly below the soil level, tamp the soil down and water thoroughly, after the flowers bloom, leave the foliage in place until it turns yellow and dies off, hostas rarely need dividing and are very long-lived perennials

    Hosta 3 Pack.
    I must of read the description wrong because I thought for the money I spent, I would get three hosta plants. Not the roots. I love Home Depot it's a great store, we shop there a lot. But I was very disappointed in my purchase.
