Can this product be installed over a concrete floor that is not excessively moist? What would be the procedure and recommended other products (e.g. adhesive, vapor barrier) to do that successfully?
Asked by: Brock
Hello, this product is a click lock engineered hardwood floor and can be installed over a concrete sub-floor. A two-in-one foam underlay must be placed on top of the sub-floor prior to installation. The product cannot go directly over the concrete. Additionally, the concrete can be tested for moisture using an Electrical Impedance Test or Electrical Resistance Test, both are concrete moisture meters. If the moisture meter shows a possibility of excess moisture, further testing should be performed. We hope this helps but should you have any other questions please reach out to us at Customerservice@blueridgehardwood.com.

How many mm's is the wear layer?

How many mm's is the wear layer?
Asked by: LA
The wear layer thickness was about 1.5mm (not specified 3mm) on 5 layer (not specified 8 layer) plywood for (5) boxes of material supplied June, 2019. Otherwise, the material finish looks good, although you need about 20% extra to allow for some bad looking high contrast material that you won't want to install.
