Works great for light to medium construction. If heavy construction is being done on top of a protected new floor, go with the ¼ in sheeting. Strongly recommend installing print side down. Just roll it out like normal, cut to fit, and flip it over. It lays down better and is less likely to pop up around the edges. The beginning of the roll usually is okay print side up. The closer you get to the end it becomes much more necessary to flip it.

Anyone who's seen this product knows it's not 3/8" thick (0.375"); if you read the specs, the average caliper thickness is 0.046 inches. It's good stuff; works fine to protect floors, and afterwards, if you garden, it makes excellent temporary biodegradable mulch that you can plant right through.

It went down nicely, USE THE RAMBOARD TAPE, for best results. It came up nicely with the tape and we were able to reuse the ramboard. Only 4 stars because I felt is was a bit expensive. Quality was there.

This product is designed so printed side is up yet they roll it up so that the printed side up is so curved that only duct tape can hold it down when virtually ANY surface that requires protection, can’t be used with duct tape (duct tape isn’t even enough to hold it down at times). ANY SMART person would roll it up the opposite way so that ease of use is actually there…
