This Weed and Grass Killer is safe for use around people and pets when used as directed. Specially designed to kill all types of actively growing weeds or certain grasses and is conveniently rainproof when dry for long-lasting use. Killer works at temperatures as low as 40 degrees Fahrenheit and will not translocate. Ideal for use around borders, driveways, sidewalks, around the base of mature trees, around buildings, fence lines barns, pastures, greenhouses and a variety of other areas where control is needed.

AnswerThis product will kill all foliage it is applied to including creeping charlie as it is a non-selective herbicide. It does not come with a sprayer as it needs to be mixed with water because it's a concentrate. Our ready-to-use gallon bottles do come with a sprayer.

AnswerThank you for your question. BurnOut does not require sunlight to burn the plant tissue, however more of an impact does take place when it is sunny out. Be thorough when applying as this will also help with effectiveness.

AnswerThank you for your question. When mixing BurnOut with water, it is easier to mix 32 oz. (a quart) of concentrate with 96 oz. (3 quarts) of water to make a gallon (4 quarts) of solution. You could mix 42.6 oz. of concentrate with a gallon of water but you would make 170.6 oz. of solution, which most likely would not fit in a 1 gallon pump sprayer. Either way at a 1:3 ratio, a gallon of BurnOut Concentrate will make 4 gallons of solution.

I wish I had known about this product sooner! It works fantastic for me! I'm having a terrible time getting rid of bermuda grass in my garden area, especially along the fence. This is working! About the smell: WHO CARES. It does hang around a bit. I can even smell it on my hands (very faint) after just picking up the container. Maybe it will repel the mosquitoes! It's killing the poison ivy too. And we have lots of it on our property as well. I purchased the quart concentrate to try it. Definitely buying it by the gallon now.

Weeds and grass did not stay dead long. Have to reapply every couple of days to keep grass from growing on my drive. I do, however, feel it is safer for my pets. They sometimes lap up puddled water and the thought of using harmful chemicals to kill grass and weeds, then it rains... Would hate to poison my precious puppies for the sake of a little bit of unsightly green in my gravel.

Although it turns the weed brown within hours, it still takes the same energy to pull out the dead weed from then soil.
Only helpful on small weeds that may be left in place after spraying to avoid continued growth

As far as the weed killer being safe around people...

As far as the weed killer being safe around people and pets is a plus, but as far as fast results was not all that great, mixture was 1 gallon of product to 2 gallons of water+ total 3 gallons to spray on weeds, (smelled like Clove oil) May if I made the mixture 2 to one instead of 3 to one would have been better m, how ever I made sure the weeds were saturated and I doubled back for a 2nd time m. After 2 and a half weeks some of the weeds were dead. Very expensive for the amount of weeds to kill. Round up and cross bow is my normal mixture- but I am very selective to were I spray, but in 2 weeks 3 ounces of each per gallon of water the weeds would have been dead to the ground. But there is a ton of precautions I need to have before spraying ( that can cause a huge issue) I would prefer pulling weeds ($50 per hour, time consuming) then using a weed preventer ) then you are good to go.
