Plants are dead and the plastic tags are gone. A copy of the order should be on file with Home Depot and/or Bonnie Plant.

Why is it listed as a perennial in the description but the details table lists it as annual?

Two ordered plants arrived nearly dead and within a week did die. The plants were completely dried out, small, spindly, and immature. They were not 4.5 inches tall and each had only one, small nearly dead leaf. Irritating at best.

Growing like crazy
I bought this late last summer 2017. I was afraid to put it in the ground since my soil is heavy and a few plants did get water logged. I managed to over winter the plant and planted it in my raised garden bed in the Spring 2018. I didn’t expect much since it didn’t look so great but once this plant was in the ground and the weather warmed up in April and May it started growing like crazy. Plant your sage in the ground and it will grow big and fast! Plus it’s a perennial that requires no maintenance.

Plants aren’t doing good. Mint died and Lavender is on its way out. The other two have a 50-50 chance to live. I will NEVER buy plants again. I hate these.
