Q:What?s the difference between mint and peppermint?
by|Aug 7, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question

A:  Our sweet mint is grown from cuttings of a variety that comes to us from Israel, where mint is used in many dishes, from lamb to yogurt sauce. We think you’ll like the rich spearmint flavor of this variety.

          Dead plants
I received 2 plants where all the lower half of the stems were dried/dead or maybe sun burned. The leaves still looked green but the edges on several of the leaves were brown. I went ahead and planted them hoping the roots were still good. It’s been about a week and I only have 2 stems left and they are also dead. I’ve cut back the dead and dried stems in hopes that the roots will provide more mint. But I’m doubtful.

We are sorry to hear that your Bonnie Plants Sweet Mint did not survive. These plants can survive indoors. They will need to be planted in a container with a drainage hole, be kept watered well but not sit wet and be in plenty of direct light. bonnieplants

I received these a few weeks ago and they are doing great! They were packed very well, and the box was labeled for safe handling. (I received some from another company and they were not packed well or labeled and they were totally destroyed.) I would make sure the next order comes from Bonnie.

For the most part, the plants in the Home Depot Garden Centre are well taken care of with Watering and Ample Sun-Light. Some the plants were damaged from customers who had bent / broken leaves / stems off. We were able to find a nice plant after a bit of searching and planted it in our herb garden that afternoon.
