Although I just bought my Cherokee Purple 2 weeks ago, Home Depot asked for a review, so I figured I could give one based upon historical experience. I have repeatedly purchased and grown this variety for well over a decade or more of gardening. It is an heirloom variety so I can collect seeds if I want to grow my own starts, and of the varieties I have tried before, I prefer the flavor of Cherokee Purple the best. It has more meat than juice, so it is a good tomato for sandwiches and salads. I am very pleased that HD continues to carry this variety in their garden centers.
