Product Overview

  • Non-GMO rosemary plant grows in well-drained soil
  • Perennial plant requires full sunlight every day
  • Best planted in containers between spring and fall
You'd be hard-pressed to find an easier-to-grow, more versatile herb than Rosemary. Originally grown in the Mediterranean, this herb requires well-drained soil and can handle drought once it's mature. With its bush-like growth habit, Rosemary works beautifully as a landscape plant, either in pots or in the ground. In the kitchen, it adds flavor to a wide variety of recipes. Harvest tender stems often for best results and use them right away; Rosemary, unlike other herbs, has a stronger flavor when fresh than when dried. Perennial in zones 8 to 10.
  • Easy-to-grow herb that can be used in many recipes
  • Attractive landscape plant
  • Upright, with evergreen leaves that are wonderfully aromatic
  • Grows well in containers and becomes drought-tolerant as it matures
  • Harvest often for best growth
  • Light Requirements: Full sun
  • Space 24 in. to 36 in. apart
  • Frost tolerant
  • Suitable for Fall planting
  • Good for containers

Is this long leaf rosemary....as opposed to the short leaf type which is not as good for cooking?
Asked by: alt
I was very pleased with this delivery -- only about a week ago. They are long leafed -- I haven't yet cooked with it - been too busy gardening for cooking! LOL but the leaves are long, hydrated, healthy - and the aroma of a leaf I just plucked - incredible! May go make up a pot of rosemary chicken now! Very pleased.
