4.5 in. Dragon Hot Cayenne Pepper is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing yield with Average taste When I grew these in North Georgia during 2016, one plant produced around 50+ peppers for harvest. The plant decided to flower even during the hottest of summer ( with a little shade) even when all the other peppers had stopped producing. The plants consistently outyielded all other pepper varieties and survived the frost 4 times ( the 4th frost got down to 28F)! The taste is decent but the pepper is incredibly spicy and versatile with it being perfect for hot sauce! Even more amazing is that it was disease and pest free and can grow in tiny pots. Buy this plant if you want a heavy producing, very spicy, decent flavored pepper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An abundance of beautiful fruits. I have planted these dragon cayennes now for three years. I have always been very pleased with the abundance of fruits, and with the extreme heat and tastiness of the peppers, either fresh or dried, when added to a sauce, stew, or soup. These peppers are very easy to grow, the plants are compact and deeply sown with finger-thin green peppers that turn red over the course of a couple of a week or so and mature into some of the most delectable hot peppers you'd ever want for your cuisine. I would highly recommend Dragon Cayennes to anyone who desires a nice pepper that can grow either in a garden or in pots but that bears voluminously and bears only high quality fruit. We typically dry them on long chains and give them as gifts to family who really enjoy a hot pepper. Very highly recommended, you could not do better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great flavor! I bought one of these plants in early spring, it started producing so many peppers I went back for the last one on the shelf. So far so good for making hot sauce. I decided to clone my healthier plant and move it indoors in a grow tent. The clone which is about 4 weeks old, is already producing flowers. Hopefully I can keep this thru winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding I only planted one of this new, to me, pepper. It's a short pepper and is a prolific producer. The peppers turn red quickly and they are hot and spicy. I've had enough to dry and ground for seasoning. It's a go!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! They've grown fast and full, and have made great hot sauce, and additions to pickled banana peppers that I also got.
