This work bench arrived in great condition thanks to some excellent packaging. The instructions were very clear and the work bench went together in about 20 minutes. The black paint finish is very durable and resists scratching. I assembled the bench upside down on some unprotected metal saw horses and when I flipped it right side up there were no scratches at all on the top. I have used my drill press on top of the bench and it has more than adequate support for the drill press. The top is really strong! The bottom shelf handles my heavy hammer drill, impact wrench, SawZall, Grinders and other heavy hand tools without any deflection at all. The adjustable feet with leveling pads helped me level the bench in my sloped floor in the garage.

Ordered this table online and it was delivered to my local store within 3 days. When I went to pick it up it arrived at the store inside of a very heavy duty carton that was strapped to a large wooden pallet. I had the guys at the store take it off the pallet and help me slide the box into my SUV. This is a very heavy bench. I backed it up to my garage and slide the box out onto the driveway, then pushed it inside of my garage. Carrying this box would be a two-man project. The packing inside of the carton was amazing. Everything protected by layers of paper, plastic, foam, etc. I actually put this in my basement work room so opened the box in the garage and brought it inside the house one piece at a time. That was easy to do. Instructions were good. Not too difficult to figure out but there are so few pieces it's really just a matter of figuring out the best way to asemble it. I recommend following the instructions. You start by putting the top upside down on the floor. The paint finish is very smooth glossy black so have it on carpeting or the box top. Paint seems pretty rugged. No scratches on mine at all. Then attach the legs but leave the bolts a bit loose to jiggle. Then you add the short cross pieces, and finally the long back brace and shelf/foot-rest. Once you've done all of that you can mostly tighten the bolts. All of the holes and bolts on mine lined up fine except for one sets of holes on each end of the long back brace. I could have drilled them out to get the last four bolts inserted but frankly after tightening all the other bolts this thing was already like a battleship. No need for the last of the bolts. The last thing to do while it's still upside down is to insert the adjustable parts of each leg into each leg and fasten with bolts. That part can be set high, medium, low, but then at the bottom of each foot is a large bolt-head that you can fine tune the height with by turning each of them left or right. My basemant floor is quite uneven where I installed this, so I adjusted each foot independently to make the bench perfectly level. Then I bought and put four of those small round plastic furntiture mover discs under those bolts to keep the metal from touching the carpeting, and with those discs under there I can easily slide this table around without much trouble. That was important because I wasn't sure exactly where I wanted it, so being able to slide it around helped me get it into the exact right spot. Now it's there forever. The last thing to do after the bench ir righted is to add the back and side guards along the top. That was easy. Great bench. The top and legs are heavy steel. The back guards are heavy enough to do the job. I covered mine with a sheet of light green drafting board cover to the soften the work area for my hands and tools and to brighten up the work space. Black absorbs so much light I had to do something to be able to see anything when working at this bench. If it came in gray or white paint I'd have gotten one of those instead but this was the one bench I could find that fit my limited space. As it turned out it is an EXCELLENT quality bench that I can recommend without reservation. Just be careful with the box because it is very HEAVY. I would have included a photo but it looks EXACTLY like the image on Home Depot's site. That is the bench I received. Cheers!

Sturdy workbench. Assembly instructions not included. Had to search company and model number and print them. Holes on shelf didn't match up. Was irritating.

Not what I wanted, but by the time I cut it out of the pallet and cardboard it was too late. bent holes don't level up not enough bolts the leveler leg attachments in the instruction would have been nice
