I bought this blade with for specific purpose - to cut 2x4 that was attached to the floor.
It did get the job done, but there are two things to consider
1. It does not go deep enough - 2X4 is actually 2.5 inch thick, but the blade is only 2.25 inch long. So in I had to a piece out first and them complete the job with the final cut.
It would be much easier if the blade what a bit longer.
2. When the blade goes deep into the wood its vibration movement gets restricted by uncut wood on both sides of the blade and some point you cannot continue cutting deeper without moving the blade horizontally.
I am sure for another job it would be more appropriate.

Bought this to cut through some rusted screws which had...

Bought this to cut through some rusted screws which had lost their heads and could not be removed with a screwdriver or pliers to finish a deck project I was doing. This got the job done and helped me cut through all of those rusted screws which were in the way. Without this I would have not finished my deck project. So yes, I would definetly recommend this product.
