What is the maximum thickness of a wall for this "Thin-Wall Core Bit"? Two, three inches? Would a 6" thick wall made with concrete blocks be too thick for it?
Asked by: Ed
The bit will go about 3 inches deep, if I need the hole deeper I just but the concrete out where I drilled and then use the bit to go in deeper.

What mode is best for using this bit? Hammer/drill or drill only

Asked by: Aaron
I saw Bosch rep say hammer setting damaged bit. I used rotary only and no damage. Probably took longer though but wasn’t risking with $80 bit

will this go thru rebar reinforced concrete?

will this go thru rebar reinforced concrete?
Asked by: sween
Rebar sure slows it down that is for sure. I had almost opted to move my hold over but I didn't feel like it. It probably took me 8-12 minutes to just get through the rebar. Im pretty pleased. I was worried about the bit but I cant really tell if the rebar did anything. just hope you have better luck aiming than i did.
