Fantastic range with one setback
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this range so much! The heating elements on the stovetop great quickly and evenly. The knobs are smooth but have a little click at each level which I like, you don't have to bend to look at what level you are on.
I love that the front left burner can be either size and there is a warming section in the back to keep food ready to serve. I have only used the oven twice and so far it works great with even cooking, a time indicator for preheating and great use of oven time.
Oddly my favorite thing is that there are 3 racks and they have a cut out that serves as a handle. Looks great in our kitchen.
Only set back was that there are four screws that hold the backplate of the control panel on. Bosch should use ultra low profile screws for this. They stick out making the range slightly more than 30" width indicated on the spec sheet. We had to call service because the range would not clear our newly installed cabinets and countertops. They were able to swap out one of the screws but it has been impossible to find a match for the other 3. Luckily the hardware store had something a little smaller than the original, and we were able to use those. Bosch should either use smaller screws (which would also prevent counter damage during install) or update their spec sheet to show this needs a little more clearance.

All around 4.6. Very good oven and range. Warmer box is good not great, and wish it could also be used as storage. Surface of range is solid and scraps off easy.

Important design flaw
This range has a design flaw that causes the control panel to completely freeze when you open the oven and steam comes up. We have had Bosch technicians out to the house twice to perform repairs without success. At the last visit the technician mentioned this is a known design flaw by Bosch and that they are working on a solution. This is a fire hazard as there could be grease fire and you wont be able to turn off the range for 30 seconds. I recommend you look at a different Bosch range.

Slide-In Range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with our new slide-in range. The feature of the glass extending onto the countertop makes for easy cleanup. We are enjoying the control features, such as, pizza. The top burners respon quickly.
A few suggestions: The digital control panel changes when barely brushed. For example, if I am cooking on the back burner with the oven on my body can easily, unknowingly change an oven setting. Also, the lock/unlock feature is super, but it takes ours about 4 seconds which seems very long:)
I am concerned about future problems with the opening and closing of the warming drawer. Once it did not open at all with the drawer being empty.
I suggest the high setting for the warming drawer to be perhaps 200 degrees. Improving the warming drawer temperature and the drawer opening/closing properly would make a wonderful range even better. Thank you!

Designed for Excellence
Beautiful design with glass top flow over onto counters. Metal knobs make it feel premium. Cooking and baking so far have been excellent, very happy with this Bosch range. Like the indents on the oven racks for easy and efficient pull/push.

Great Range!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although we had our range installed only a month ago, it has proved to be of high quality, user friendly, and looks great in our refreshed kitchen! Read prior reviews about the top being difficult to clean and easily scratched, yet not my experience. This may be because I'm used to a glass range top. Spilled some homemade jam on burner and cleaned right up with a razor blade and glass cooktop cleaner! Oven bake is right on, including convection for baking.

Fantastic 800 Series Slide in Range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great oven for people who cook a lot. I haven't seen warming drawers for several years now. I really like it for baking bread and keeping things warm while waiting for other parts of a meal to finish. Some dishes don't heat in a microwave well. I also hate ranges with a little oven on top and a larger oven below. I also really like that the cooktop sits over the countertop. This prevent food from spilling down the side and crumbs accumulating in almost impossible areas to clean.

Works great, love the fit.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I swapped to this oven when the one I had planned for was out of stock, and couldn't be happier. I love the extra lip in a slide in so you don't have to worry about crumbs and gunk getting in between the range and counter. It looks super sleek, and heats up nice and quick.
My one minor quibble is that the touchpad is pretty annoying as far as accidentally hitting it, i now turn the lock on all of the time u til I need to use it.
