Mine came with a 13.5 electric start Briggs and Stratton. I am writing the company today to find out what the deal is. Home Depot never responded.

Bad design, no customer service, performance less than advertised.
The assembly instructions were vague and in some cases incorrect. A bolt was missing from the assembly parts and when the manufacturer was contacted, an automated response stated the part (a standard metric bolt) was out of stock and then, no further response. I bought one myself upon which I noticed it was incorrectly identified in the assembly instructions. The product description claims that it will handle up to 4" limbs; that has not been my experience; it jams on limbs approximately 2" in diameter. Once jammed, it immediately starts burning up the centrifugal clutch requiring a prompt engine shut down in a cloud of smoke to save the remaining clutch and belts. Then, it's difficult to free the jammed blades. No printed parts list or service manual (except for the B&S engine) came with this product, and I couldn't find either with an Internet search; furthermore, I couldn't find a listing of service locations. Moving this heavy machine is difficult because of non-ergonomic placement of handles. But on the up side, the B&S engine starts every time with just one pull.

Boss Industrial wood chipper-not worth it
I bought this in the spring and used it 6 times. It works great for very small brush and bushes. Does not work well on anything over 3". The shout does not have a quick release like other brands and any kind of jam will result in a complete take apart session I have it down to about 30 minutes what a waste of time. I have already broke a set of blades. Some of the bolts holding the blade in were damaged. These are special thin m10x25s and Boss does not stock them. Do not buy this made in China product, your better off to rent a commercial one on occasion when needed. Some pics of the hopper that is bolted in vs a quick release like other brands. Horrible blade design. There $50 a set through boss.

Junk. And Boss will not answer the phone. Nor will they reply to multiple email attempts. There is no customer service.

Chipper works pretty well, but I can't see how it would chip a 6" branch, it struggles with 3". Electric start is nice.

        Awesome looking machine
First of all this thing is massive, shipping weight 650 or so lbs. it comes in a crate and they wheeled it right up to the house. I recommend a floor jack for help in Assembly which is very straight forward and quick. I haven’t used it yet and will update the review but I do have a few issues and I hope Home Depot will contact me about this. It is advertised as 15 horsepower and in the description on the same ad it says 14 but the engine docs say it’s 13.5 somehow I lost a horse and a half???
