I believe this valve should be available in the stores. This valve is the better choice to a multi turn stop valve with a plastic stem. Also, I do not believe ANY valve should be soldered to the supply line .
Anyone needing a sink or toilet stop valve should consider this one compared to the commonly offered choices. It's worth waiting for if it is not a store stock item.
