BrassCrafts Safety+PLUS2 gas connector combines patented excess flow technology and thermal heat activation with the advanced corrosion resistance, to provide a safer gas connector for your home and family. In the event of a gas line rupture or disconnect, the excess flow valve (EFV) restricts gas flow at the appliance to a non-hazardous level. This immediate action helps avert the potential for a dangerous release of gas into the home. Gas is controlled only at the point where the problem exists; the rest of your system will continue to function. Safety+PLUS EFV automatically resets once the gas line is properly repaired. The thermal component utilizes a thermal ring that will restrict the flow through the valve when the valve is exposed to temperatures of 400F or more. BrassCraft's stainless steel gas connector also features a proprietary polymer coating designed to withstand prolonged exposure to harsh household cleaning, plumbing repair and masonry products as well as UV rays and salt. Unlike conventional dipped or sprayed coatings, the ProCoat coating is baked directly on the connector surface at high temperatures to provide a uniform coating over the entire length of the connector. The coating is applied only after the connector has been 100% leak tested to provide complete corrosion resistance.

Hello, Thank you for your question. We would require more information to determine if our Connector (or other product) is designed for that use. Please contact our Customer Support Team at 877-277-7755 and reference this review.
Hi Joe, Thank you for your question. No, for proper installation, a connector should be at least 2-3" longer than the distance between the appliance and gas supply. Never connect two gas connectors together. Our gas connectors are only to be used as a single connector between your gas ball valve shut off and your appliance. Most cities require a gas ball valve to be installed within easy reach, no more than 6 feet from the appliance. Always check your local codes to see if they differ. You should always ensure that use of this connector meets all Brasscraft application specifications. If you have any other questions, please contact our Customer Support Team at 877-272-7755 for assistance.
I wouldn't! I mean, physically it can be done - but that's too many connections that could fail and/or leak, etc. If you can't find a long enough hose, get a plumber in to pipe a better supply line in.
I am using it for a 30,000 Btu heater in my basement so I would say yes.
Hi Nfoley, Thank you for your question. This item can be used for a natural gas heater. Your BTU is 32,000 and this has a capacity for 53,200 If you have any other questions, Please reach out to our Customer Support Team toll-free at 877-272-7755 and reference this review.
Yes. Depending on your dryer fittings you may need an adapter (male/female) but it'll work.
Yes. That is what I used it for
Hi Steve - Thank you for your question. This connector can be installed on 4-burner gas ranges, cook-top, dryers and water heaters. Connectors and fittings can be used with natural gas, LP gas (propane) and LP gas-air mixtures. The size connections are 1/2 in. MIP x 1/2 in. MIP x 60 in. length with stainless steel gas connector Safety+Plus2 Thermal Excess Flow Valve (53,200 BTU). If you need additional support, please contact one of our Customer Service Representatives at 877-272-7755.
Hi Stephen, The Brasscraft stainless steel gas connectors are made in the U.S.A. thank you, Brasscraft
That typ it' no I would not recommend using this on a gas grill outside what you need is a roughing in gas nipple sticking outside then you need a gas grill that has a quick connect line because of the weather and the temperature it won't damage it so I would not recommend putting this outside the weather would eat it up and it will leak and then you know what's next
Commercial deep fryers usually take 3/4 inch and they also have a special protective coating on the outside of the whip so I do not believe that this particular model is right for your application
No this cannot be used on a commercial deep fryer a commercial deep fryer gas line is an inch the three quarters this is only half inch it does not give you the right abundance of gas to keep a commercial fryer contain
Hi Cruz, thank you for your question. The CSSD64TE-60 X5 gas connector is typically for use to install 4-burner gas ranges, cook-tops, dryers and water heaters with a BTU rating up to 53,200 for that length. It is best to make sure to check the requirements imposed by the appliance manufacturer and all applicable codes for use. We would require more information to assist you further. Please contact our Customer Support Team at 877-277-7755 and reference this review.
This could be used in a gas fire pit, but not recommended as it may cause whistling. Better to use a high pressure whistle free gas hose. Search EasyFirePits as they manufacture hoses specifically for outdoor gas fire pits
Yes with no problems or issues just keep everything secure and safe
