1/2 in. Push Connect x 3/8 in. OD Comp x 3/8 in. OD Comp Dual Outlet Dual Shut Off Angle Valve

We used the Brasscraft 1/2 inch push connect X 3/8 inch OD Comp X 3/8 OD comp Dual outlet dual shut off angle valve, rough brass to run a water line to two seperate refrigerators, 1 in the garage and 1 on the other side of the wall in our kitchen. My husband prefers to not solder copper lines and this product is perfect for him. I am considering this product for a direct water line to our coffee maker.

These are so easy to install. The most common use will probably be for supplying a dishwasher and faucet or a drinking water filter and faucet. It took us awhile to get comfortable using push to connect fittings like this on copper pipe, but now we've installed quite a few of them and have never had a problem. The convenience of not having to use a torch under the sink is great. You can also pull the collar back and slide the fitting back off the pipe. They are re usable also if you need to shorten the pipe etc. The two output 3/8 compression fittings have separate valves which is also great when servicing fixtures. We're comfortable with this brand at work and at home. Highly recommend!

These push on fittings are so much better than compression or having to solder. Way quicker easier, and though it is a bit concerning that the fitting can rotate. This was installed in the kitchen for the dishwasher and faucet supply line, getting a wrench in here would have been a hassle. I actually cut off the old valve which was out a bit from the wall anyway, pressed the new valve on.

I could not be more happy with this dual shut off valve in 1/2x3/8x3/8. I am was able to have one shut off operating my ice maker and water filtration system at the same place. Plus this is push connect to 3/8 pex, copper or CPVC. This i sso universal, so easy to install,and so easy all around. I was able to siply add this with so little effort, too easy.

This is a great way to add a dual 3/8" shutoff to an 1/2" water line. This dual shutoff is a push connect and allows us to shut off the output lines with separate 1/4 turn values. I like 1/4 turn values for this function since the water is going to be either on or off. One of the output lines will go to the kitchen sink, the other one will be going to the dishwasher. Another option would be to connect an Osmosis filter line as the second line. We can shut off one line, both lines or have both lines open, very flexible. I included some pictures. I like that the outputs are at 180 degrees of each other, that takes connecting the lines easier because it gives maximum room to work. The lines can be right and left or up and down, or any combination where the lines are on opposite ends. It is fast and easy to connect to a 1/2" line. To disconnect easily all you need is a $2.00 plastic tool.

Although quite expensive, this dual outlet, dual shut off valve can be a life saver. It's extremely handy when installing a water filter system under the counter and only one cold line is available. It's equally valuable when installing a dishwasher and only one hot water line has been plumbed. In newer construction the valve probably won't be needed. But this valve can save a lot of time and headaches in older, under the sink plumbing. And the push-on connection for 1/2" tubing makes installation simple.

If you don't need this valve now you will need it someday. Very handy for under the kitchen sink. Connects directly to the ½' pex water line coming into your sink for incoming water. Then you can use it on your cold water line and supply water to your sink and a refrigerator with an ice maker/water dispenser. Or it could be to a water filter drinking faucet too. On the Hot Water line you can feed your faucet and your dishwasher. Each side of this valve is independently controlled so you can easily shut off one item for repairs/replace without shutting down your whole system.

The instructions on the inside of the box are thorough and clear. They let me know exactly where to cut the pipe and where to mark the pipe so that I would push the valve body far enough on the pipe. The caution about removing all burrs from the pipe before installation is a good one. Having the instructions on the inside of the box saves having an extra piece of paper. I spent some time deciding the best angle for the dual valve body before installing it. I thought I would not be able to swivel the valve body after installing it. After installation the valve body swivels easily to any position. This feature will automatically avoid dangerous kinks in the hoses and pipes coming from the valves. I had no problem with leaking water after the installation. The quarter turn valves are nice. I prefer quarter turn valves over multi-turn valves. Now I can have my filtered water faucet controlled separately from the faucet for the sink.
