Product Details

Corrosion is no match for BrassCraft's COPPER-FLEX water heater connectors. Constructed of seamless copper tubing, COPPER-FLEX water heater connectors are the professional's choice for water heater installations. Featuring an integrated dielectric sleeve, the sleeve isolates dissimilar metals within the waterway, where galvanic and electrolytic corrosion have their greatest potential. This separation provides complete protection against galvanic corrosion that can deteriorate the connector and cause leaks. In addition, the integrated dielectric sleeve eliminates the need to install an additional dielectric union, reducing time and installation costs.
  • Corrugated copper tube 7/8 in. O.D. x 24 in. L
  • End connections: 3/4 in. FIP/MIP x 3/4 in. nominal male/female sweat (7/8 in. I.D.)
  • No dielectric union needed, the integrated dielectric sleeve eliminates the potential for corrosion and the need to install an additional dielectric union
  • Requires less torque to seal with a pliable nitrile rubber washer, especially on rough nipple surfaces

    PRODUCT PICTURE AND DISCRIPTION DO NOT MATCH
    This water heater connector is not as pictured. Shows male to female connectors. Discription shows female to female. Don't go by the picture. This stopped my Saturday project cold. The parts were special order and took a week to get. Ordered male to female connectors and got female to female connectors.

      It was ok the items look like they been used...

      Excellent product. This is the product you want to use...
      Excellent product. This is the product you want to use when installing a water heater. Forget the flexible lines (hose), they will collapse (pinch) if you need at 90 degree bend 3" or less back to the fitting.
