Corrosion is no match for BrassCraft's COPPER-FLEX water heater connectors. Constructed of seamless copper tubing, COPPER-FLEX water heater connectors are the professional's choice for water heater installations. Featuring an integrated dielectric sleeve, the sleeve isolates dissimilar metals within the waterway, where galvanic and electrolytic corrosion have their greatest potential. This separation provides complete protection against galvanic corrosion that can deteriorate the connector and cause leaks. In addition, the integrated dielectric sleeve eliminates the need to install an additional dielectric union, reducing time and installation costs.
Corrugated copper tube 7/8 in. O.D. x 18 in. L
End connections: 3/4 in. FIP x 3/4 in. nominal male sweat (7/8 in. O.D.)
No dielectric union needed, the integrated dielectric sleeve eliminates the potential for corrosion and the need to install an additional dielectric union
Requires less torque to seal with a pliable nitrile rubber washer, especially on rough nipple surfaces
Use with electric or gas water heaters or softeners, use only to connect water
Engineered and tested for harsh water conditions
Temperature rating: 40° to 180° F (NSF61 maximum 82° C)

An absolute pile of junk! My brasscraft water heater connector is suppose to be a step-up from the cheap stuff they sell in the store, and brasscraft is a good product, but my part arrived obviously VERY USED. I am upset with Home Depot that they would sell me used parts for my home water system. It is very obvious because there are heavy wrench marks on the fitting, and the copper looks older than the 20 year old part it is replacing. I have had it with Home Depot, and this was the last straw because they took 10 days to deliver a pile of junk at a premium price. They should just stick to selling lumber. I am also going to take back an $850 water heater that I bought yesterday, and buy it somewhere else. Am I upset? You bet I am because I lost my confidence in Home Depot.
