Yes, you should be able to since this one is rated for 106,000 BTU. Of course make sure you use the correct size fittings. 106,000 BTU is of course overkill for your heater so I would suggest finding one that is a lower BTU (for example, 71,0000 BTU). That will save you a few bucks.

Yes, it can be used on a variety of gas appliances as long as the BTU rating of the appliance doesn't exceed 106,000 BTU and the connectors provided adapt to the units gas connection. When connecting any gas equipment always check your connections for leaks. Just take some dish soap, diluted in 75% water, and a brush and brush the soapy water on the connections. If you see bubbles, you have a leak and should retighten the connection.
Hello Tak-Thank you for your question, yes the "brass fitting" is the Excess Flow Valve which would need to be installed at the gas shut off valve, there are arrows marked on the Excess Flow Valve on which way the gas flows through for installation ease. The two steel fittings, would be different sizes to accommodate different needs during installation. Home Depots website has a wealth of information, but if you have any other questions, please contact our Customer Support Team at 877-272-7755.
No, it can't be used to connect directly to a propane tank. It is for appliances only. Bob

Hi glenn - Corrugated Stainless Steel Tubing (CSST) is a flexible, stainless steel pipe used to supply natural gas and propane to your home. CSST should not be confused with flexible gas appliance connectors - the product that joins a moveable appliance to your home gas supply. This product is a flexible gas connector that is designed for use with gas appliances, where installation is immediately downstream of the gas supply stub out and manual gas shut-off valve. It should never be installed behind or thru walls or partitions. This connector has a Safety+Plus valve where it attaches to your gas stub out so in the event of a gas line rupture or disconnection at the appliance, the Safety+PLUS valve immediately restricts gas flow to a non-hazardous level to avert the potential for a dangerous release of gas into the home. Only after the gas line has been properly repaired, the bypass flow automatically resets the valve, allowing gas flow to resume to the appliance.
