This is a great kit for installing your tankless heater, Comes with all necessary hardware to make you life easier, As well as leaving it set up for easy clean outs after installation.(tankless heaters should be flushed with white vinegar every 12 months to remove scaling) With this kit and a small pump you can easily descale your heater with little effort. Also makes installation and service much easier, Brasscraft makes a quality product and this seems to be no exception.
How To Clean Your Tankless Water Heater:
Pour approximately five gallons of food grade white vinegar into a 5 gallon pail. Place the inlet hose of the pump, and the drain hose from the hot water heater into the pail. Open the drain valves and turn on the pump. Allow solution to circulate for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. Your coils inside the heater will sparkle like new.
